Clint Georg Based in Denver, Clint is a co-Founder and Managing Partner of Alden Equity Partners and a corporate turn-around specialist with nearly 30 years of experience. He has held senior financial and operating roles at many AEP portfolio companies leading the necessary operational or financial restructuring, developing growth initiatives and driving value creation. He graduated with an MBA in Finance (with honors) from the University of Illinois.

Brian Nerney
Based in Dallas, Brian is a co-Founder and Managing Partner of Alden Equity Partners. Brian has a broad and diverse background in industry, private equity and public equity investing. He has served as Chairman or CEO of several AEP portfolio companies leading complex restructurings or turnarounds. Separately, he is also a Managing Partner with Sundial Capital Management, a long/short strategy hedge fund. He graduated from Virginia Tech University with a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.

David Kocon
David is a Partner at Alden Equity Partners and brings a diverse financial and investment background. David joins Alden Equity Partners from Sun Mountain Capital, a multi-strategy fund manager based in Santa Fe, New Mexico where he was head of the firm’s Credit Opportunity Fund – a lower middle market direct lending fund. Prior to Sun Mountain Capital, David was an investment banker in the Global Leveraged Finance group at Merrill Lynch & Co. in New York. David has a Master’s degree in International Affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Northwestern University and a Bachelor’s of Art degree in Economics from Claremont McKenna College. He is also a former Peace Corps Volunteer who served in Romania.
